About a year ago i made a stupid mistake of getting online pay day loans. They ended up taking hundreds out of my bank account with me knowing. Anyways they say I owe them and I refuse to talk to them at work. I even told them not to call me at work (i was told they had to stop if you did that) Anyways this morning i was answering the phones at my work and they asked for me (i knew it was them because they are foreign and used my maiden name) i told them i was not available and then they asked to speak to my boss! I must have stupidly put her name down on something. Anyways i put them in my voice mail. Does any one have any idea why they want to talk to my boss? What could that possibly do for them? How can i get them to stop bothering me at work?

Lenders are turning people down that have never been late on their mortage, have fico’s in the 600’s, have owned their home for more than 2 years. In the past you could refinance into another loan even if the credit wasn’t the best and you didn’t have 3-6 months worth of mortgage payments in the bank. Lenders are looking out only for themselves and their investors, but some middle ground must be established. Does anyone have information on what consumers can do to really pressure the government to step in and work something out with the lenders.Are there any organizations pressuring the government to step in and help people that are currently in homes with adjustable rate loans that are going to go up 2-3% raising their payments by $800 or $1000 per month?
I am not suggesting a bail out by taxpayers. I am asking that the government intercede to pressure lenders to come up with a solution
on homeowners behalf.

I applied for financial aid a long time ago and I registered for school like late and when I went to the financial aid office the man there said that I am good in my financial aid papers but the problem was that I didnt fill in a box and that I had to correct it and I will be ok. Then I went to apply for a short-term loan and they told me that I better be sure that the financial aid people are going to cover my costs but I have my doubts because it has been a week already and still no response and the line for financial aid is humongous and I don’t want to make it.
