Why would anyone enlist to an online college? Arn’t the degrees worth less then even a community college’ degree equivalent (not saying there is a problem with community college)? The credits for online colleges are non-transferable…? Online colleges are just as expensive (in some cases MORE expensive) then community? I mean, colleges are very flexible but there has to be a better option then shady online colleges.

And before I let you guys go, you have seen those Astrive commercials right? Need money for college?
a.) Search the couch for cash
b.) Sell ad space
c.) Play the Lottery
d.) Call astive student loans
What ever happened to
e.) Get a goddamn job
Right? I wonder what the interest rates are for these oh so great loans.
No i dont want to do an online college i think they are a scam.

In my case, I was never a good student.. took a few years off around 18-21 and got my computer science degree by 24. I’m 25 now and still living with my parents. I have no student loan. I started my own online biz (took me serveral months isolating myself home) and happily making over 6 figures and keep growing. I’m saving up most of what i am making and be good and ready to buy a nice beach house in malibu in 2-3 years, nice car, and able to support my parents thru my investments on their retirement with ease.

yet, i find that many so-called ambitious recent graduates really struggled when they finally graduated, due to overrated college exp. and even more ridiculously high amount of student loan, so they are forced to find a dead-end or part time job and work their behind out just to pay for a cheap apt to live in, while still maintaining a relationship with their gf who is probably not gonna last anway. just struggling to live the rest of their lives in a rat race.

even though i am living with my parents for a few more years then my peers, i am making more money than most of the people in their 30s and be a lot secure and worry-free of my future and my future gf/wife for the rest of my life.

just as an example, say a recent college grad found a job that pays 50k (average) a year, in only a few years, he can afford to buy himself a house with cash, if only he just stay home a few years.

not to mention, most very successful entrepreneur started their biz/hobbies at home living with parents..etc. and become millionaire at an early age. even Bill gates stay in a garage until 25.

i think the whole early 20s freedom is overrated and they have to pay it thru the rest of their life.

i dont have alot of money right now. should i risk taking out student loans to cover this, or should i join the military and get some extra cash and be set after 4 years. Has anyone ever tried this, will they really pay for you college education with benefits and all that jazz. is this a good way for a budding filmmaker like myself to build up alittle money and try to break into the film industry, or is it better to take out the loans and slowly pay them back over time. Iam kinda in a pickle in a situtuation with no easy way out. your suggestions are welcomed!
Yeah i was going to just attend college and then join the military with student loans, but i heard the military actually has a good film programs…although i know recruiters arent always exactly honest…iam 17 btw.

Im not eligible for pell grants or anything of that sort so Im trying to use an unsubsidized loan to pay for school problem is I would be a first timer and I guess the rules are that the fund wont be dispersed until 30 days after classes start… which dosen’t make sense because they say tuition is due at the beggining of the course.. I dont have 2000 to do a short term loan or anything what should I do?
