BUT, I need to get this loan to hire an attorney, in order to get custody of my daughter and child support. I have my meeting with an attorney on Thursday.
I have also already tried prosper.com…but I am considered High Risk, so there is a pretty slim chance of getting the loan thru them.
Please help! I am getting desperate. I need to be able to take care of my daughter, and her father isn’t paying or making any attempt in seeing her.

There are many ways to get a loan even if your credit isn’t that good. Try American General Finance. If you own a car that is another way to get a loan you can use the car title as collateral. Also, you can try some of the fast cash places, most of them have a limit of $500.00 per transaction, like Cash Advance or any place that does pay day loans. If you have a checking account you give them a check and then you can make payments of say $100.00 each pay day. Check with your attorney and see if he will take payments. Alot of times if you make payments to them they will still represent you. Also try Prepaid Legal. You have to pay something like 200.00 to join and then you pay them something like 25.00 a month which is cheap and you have an attorney on retainer all the time. Good Luck
DO NOT CALL CASHCALL!!! their interest rate is %99.25. you best bet is to get a cosigner. that will reduce your interest rate and probably get you a loan.
